Charge 2 not keeping charge help!

I was usuing my charge 2 as usual last night when halfway through my exercise it ran out of battery. Since then I have charged it however, the charge 2 is not keeping full charge and screen goes off. 
My help would be welcome

Make sure that your Fitbit app is up-to-date (Android, iOS) Log out of your Fitbit app. Force quit the app. Restart your Charge 2.

Hello @SMMay and welcome to the Community.  Rechargeable batteries have a lifespan of about 3-5 years.  The Charge 2 is an older model tracker (discontinued in 2018).  Everything you are describing is typical behavior when a rechargeable battery gets to its end of life.  Sorry.
