I was receiving notifications on my charge 2 from my Galaxy J3 until about two to three weeks ago now it has stopped receiving for no reason, everything I’ve tried (disconnecting and reconnecting; uninstalling and reinstalling the app etc) does not reactivate notifications! Any ideas?

A common cause of this is where the Charge 2 is accidentally put into "do not disturb" mode. This is turned on / off by pressing and holding the button on the Charge 2. Could this be the problem here?

Not really. You could try going through fitbit's troubleshooting guide at https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1610/ and if you're still stuck after that then it's probably best to contact customer support via contact.fitbit.com
