Hi ..... I am having problems with my Charge 2.  When I run it still tells me the correct time and pace as in the voice  but when I check my phone it’s not showing the time,pace -and map anymore where I run .  It only shows now a pic of the cal burned. Please help. I tried everything, even deleting the app and restarting it.

@BIrgit5 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not recording your run maps. This is done via your phone as the Charge 2 doesn't have a GPS chip. The feature is called Connected GPS and you can read how it works here. Which phone are you using? Is it compatible? You can try the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device. 
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. 
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Hi

i have same problem. Tried all the fixes suggested many times. Nothing works. This has only happened since latest updates. Up to this problem I was very happy with my Charge 2. I am about to get a new device but if this is not fixed I will have to go to another brand. Please fix with urgency. 3rd Mar 2020.
