Charge 2 not syncing after app update

Since updating my android app my charge 2 wont sync or take an update. I have tried to contact Fitbit and just cant seem to get any joy. I have reset everything and followed all instructions. The app update said warning once you update you cant go back. Is my Charge 2 now effectively obsolete? If so that's the last money I will ever spend with fit bit

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not syncing with your phone and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Which phone are you using? Is it compatibleYou can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
