Charge 2 not syncing

I updated my fitbit app thursday and now it will not recognise my charge 2,it cannot find it,i emailed fitbit and they said the last sync was thursday,so why on the app it says it was wednesday,i have tried all the tips and it still will not find my fitbit,has this update deemed my fitbit to the bin,i have not had it long and i am getting frustrated now !!

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not syncing with your phone and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. You can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. 
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

i have tried all that ,the only thing that works is every day i have to uninstall the app the install it again,this has not just happened to me,i keep reading posts about it,fitbit need to sort the app out !!

My Charge 2 also won't sync on my PC after recent update. This happens every time Fitbit updates their software. I've tried all of the advice nothing works. This is probably the most frustrating software I have ever used. Why does this continue to happen on software updates?
