Charge 2 replacement-4 digit code being sent to old/defective unit.

My new Charge 2 is turning on to the set up screen. When I attempt to set up, the 4 digit code is being sent to old unit that I have already deleted from account through phone and dashboard on computer. 

How do I get it to synch to my new fitbit? I have clearly missed a step deleting old unit, even though my account says "no paired devices."

Hey @NattyLite, welcome to the Fitbit forums! This is happening because your old Charge 2 is close enough to the Fitbit app to be found by the Bluetooth on your phone. Let me suggest you something, can you please place your previous Charge 2 as far as you can, maybe in another room, while you set it up the new one. Or wait until it's battery dies and it's totally dead. Then repeat the set up process.
