I got my Charge 2 as a gift October 2017 (1.5years ago) & the screen has cracked. How do I get this fixed?

Unfortunately it's not possible to repair or replace the screen on fitbits
If you think the crack is a result of a defect rather than accidental damage then it would be covered by the warranty (if you can convince fitbit). However, the standard warranty is 1 year but if you are in Europe then it's 2 years so you may be covered depending on where you are.
You could contact customer support via contact.fitbit.com They can check your warranty status and advise on your options.

I think there is a serious design flaw in the screen. If you look closely, there's a blacker rim around the screen where the display is seen. Mine started cracking at the junction of that rim and the display portion, and it's steadily gotten worse. I contacted FitBit and they sent me a 'courtesy' replacement, but it completely died (won't turn on, won't charge, totally dead) before I got a chance to start using it. I've now had four Fitbits in less than 4 years (5 if you count the one I bought that had a faulty band that kept falling off and was returned within 2 days of purchase), and I'm really considering switching to another brand because I'm not happy with the lack of durability of these trackers. I don't abuse them, they just don't seem to be holding up to regular use anymore. 😞
