So many complaints of cracked screen and doesn’t seem to me that FitBit cares at all. My Charge had a cracked screen and it was replaced within the 12 month warranty for free. The replacement just cracked at 11 months. I’m a SAHM and do yoga so no idea how they keep cracking. Customer service will no longer honor any warranty since it was on the original device in Sept 2017. I’m not paying for a new FitBit every year. Apple watch may be the way to go now as this product does not seem well crafted.

Sorry to hear about your damaged Charge 2 screen. Support does follow the guidelines listed in the warranty so if your device is outside the warranty period they won't be able to replace it. Still thank you for sharing your feedback.
