My Charge 2 is not recording the time I go to sleep. It seems to start recording some 2 to 3 hours after I fall asleep. It records my wake up time OK

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this issue and how many time since then? Let me share with you that your Charge 2 will start recording your sleep when your body is completely at rest and you haven’t moved for about an hour, therefore, I recommend you to restart your device and try wearing it on your non-dominant hand when you're going to sleep, let me know if the issue persists.
