Charge 2 steps did not reset to zero at midnight. Tried restarting tracker but all that showed was the Fitbit logo, so I don’t think it restarted. Steps will not reset and are adding on to yesterday’s.

Please confirm that you have followed the steps listed here to restart the device, since restarting the tracker refresh its performance and syncing with the Fitbit app. I'd suggest you monitoring its behavior in the next days. Your tracker should start tracking your stats from zero after midnight.
