My Charge 2 has not synced for 5 days. Have tried resetting device 3 times, have uninstalled and  reinstalled the app which didn't help. I have now unpaired the Bluetooth connection but it will not now pair again. Any suggestions how to fix ?

I am having the same problem. It shows low battery when fully charged and won't sync. I know there was once a 'sync now' option but I can't find it anywhere.

Update

I have been in touch with fitbit support who have only so far suggested I try all the things I have tried but waiting on further advice from them so hopefully will get this resolved.

Do yourself a BIG favor and throw the thing in the garbage.

I have had a Fitbit for over 6 years and have finally become frustrated to the point of no return.

I bought a brand new Charge 3, got it yesterday. It won't sync properly, I can't change the clock faces and the apps do not work at all.

Going to return the Charge 3 for a refund. I can no longer get my Charge 2 to link to my phone or my computer; it never would link properly via Bluetooth. Totally frustrated, done with Fitbit.

Have fun!!

I still have the sync now option but it doesn't sync anyway. 🙁

Thanks. I'm in UK and there doesn't seem to be any contact numbers here. I'm hoping to get a solution though via fitbit support.

I've had fitbit for 4 years with no problems until now. Hoping to get a solution but if not will have to consider moving away from Fitbit to another brand.

Mine crashed this morning. The app won’t work on my iPad either. Makes me cross that these companies don’t support their old products. The one I have worked fine. I don’t need new crap.

Same has happened to my charge 2.

Suddenly it won't sync, and it makes me mad.... Don't know how to fix it...

My charge 2 won't sync on it's own or when I "sync now". No issues until the last few days. Super frustrating!

The problem with syncing my charge 2 started on September 9th. After I purchased free trial on fitbit premium in the app... 🙈

Any tip on how to make it sync again?

Even this doesn't work for me. I know the issue is with a recent update to the app but Fitbit insist it's my device and I should buy a new one. 😒

I started having problems with my Charge 2 a while ago, mostly it wouldn't sync.

So I decided to try a Charge 3...

It was a bit tricky to get it set up, but now that it is I have to say that I am very pleased with it.

So far, it's the best tracker I have ever had.

(Good on you, Fitbit!!)

I've been having this issue for over a year now with my charge 2 syncing sporadically making me miss up to an entire month a couple times.  I don't always look at the app but expect it to work when I do as it's meant for tracking your stats.  The latest is that it's been 5 days since it synced and now when I do it manually I'm getting an error message saying that it can't, but no clue as to why.  I can't afford a new one and the idea of making an app not recognize widely used products just to make people throw them away, adding to the massive garbage problem helping to kill our environment just so Fitbit can make more money selling the newest stuff every year is reprehensible.  Fix this issue, NOW or lose a lot of customers.  I bought this just 2 years ago expecting it to work for much longer.  It does still work just fine.  Its the app that's broken.  It's so often broken it's highly annoying and I'm sick of it.  Without the app, these devices aren't worth a thing.  I have my charge 2 set to sync always because I don't use my phone much and want it to sync whenever it can.  But it won't even sync now when the phone is held in the same hand that the Fitbit is on so it's only a couple inches away and I don't do anything else while it's trying to sync, and it won't.  Not a happy customer.

Your right, its too confusing and does not sync properly most of the time.  Must be made in China which is another reason to toss it.
