Hi, I'm trying to set up a replacement FitBit Charge 2 with zero luck. It's stuck on the /setup ticker tape screen and i've done all the FitBit reset, iPhone reset, bluetooth switch off, log out and log back in - done it all multiple times in the order listed elsewhere. My old FitBit has stopped reading the heart rate and I really need it to monitor things. This replacement was received a few weeks back due to a cracked screen and the old one has only just given up the ghost.
Can anybody help please?

If it's displaying the setup message it means that the tracker is not connected to your account and that message is all it will display until it is reconnected. I would go through the setup process again: go into the account section of the app by selecting your profile image at the top left of the screen and then select "set up a device". This will then step you through the setup process again.

Hi, I've done that easily a dozen times, the phone doesn't pick it up and the iPhone screen changes after a while telling me it cannot detect anything, and if my old FitBit is too close it pings the 4 digit code to that device 😞

That's sounding horribly like you have got a dud. The only thing I can think of that you haven't tried yet is to go into the phone's bluetooth settings and forget / delete any link to a fitbit.
If that's doesn't work then it might be best to get back to customer support.

Did you manage to get it fixed? I am having the exact same issue with my versa lite and customer service is telling me to do everything repeatively.... and obviously not working

Hi all, so nothing worked, I ended up buying a Sense 2 🥴 Tried everything suggested multiple times and it ended up in the bin 👎🏼

I have the exact same thing going on. I'm wondering if it's an issue on their end and if the app has a new code or something or it's something with the integration with Google.
