Charge 2 stuck on an exclamation point

my charge 2 has a black screen with an exclamation mark  on the screen.  it's full charged and up to date.  Nothing else comes on the screen.   I tried  to install as a new charge 2.  got the pair number but won't connect.

@crzroz , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank  you for your message and efforts. 

Could you please attach a picture of your Charge 2 showing the exclamation mark on it, on your reply, so that we can see whet you are looking at, and analyze the issue better. 

In the meantime,  please do as follows. 

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or a UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and displays a battery icon. Your Charge 2 will begin charging.
  4. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 4 seconds. When the Fitbit logo appears and the tracker vibrates, your device has restarted.
