Charge 2 with IOs not tracking Bike Ride Correctly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Just started using my FitBit App and Charge 2 to track Bike Rides and my first experience did not turn out well. The heart rate information seems accurate but anything utilizing the GPS is screwed up.

Below is a picture of the result i get, it's like the Charge 2/FitBit App is only polling for GPS data intermittently (but at a consistent interval). As a result it doesn't capture 2/3s of the actual km's i rode, and shows i only went 1/3 the speed i actually did.

Is there something i am doing wrong?

@DarrylJP Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not recording your GPS data correctly. Try refreshing the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Let me know how it goes.
