Hi. I was given a Charge 2 Fitbit, to replace my Versa Lite that broke.
I have removed the old Versa Lite from the app and my paired Bluetooth devices.
I go to setup the Charge 2 as a new device on the App, and it 'finds' the tracker, but once I put in the 4 digit pin it just states 'connecting' and eventually times out saying there's a problem.
The Charge is fully charged up.
I asked the person who have it to me to ensure it was removed from their bluetooth paired devices, and the app.
I have tried:
Restarting the Charge 2
Switching on and off Bluetooth on my phone
Deleting and reinstalling the Fitbit app
Any other ideas?
The Charge 2 still seems to have the details of the previous owner on it, as messages flash up saying things like "Go for it Rachel" etc (I am not Rachel.). Is their something else I should be doing to format the Charge first before I try to pair it?
