My Charge2 is always several days behind in syncing: drives me doto !!
It cannot be synced manually because the fitbit icon (lower right on a mac screen) does not work!! Does nothing!!
I have just spent several hours with the fitbit call centre, they have no idea how to fix it.
They had me try re-downloading the fitbit app but, while the computer icon shows the download has happened, what comes from the fitbit website is a 'blank page' icon with .dmg (i.e.disk image) i.e. this is not an app not any functioning thing, but just that, a nonfunctioning icon.
Fitbit call centre, after endless time, have done nothing, nothing to fix this.
After this last endless muck around it may not sync at all!!
Just hopeless!!! (A very expensive 'hopeless'!!)

@tigerlilly2 Welcome! It's great to see you around! Sorry to hear that you can't sync your Charge 2 with your Mac computer. Start by removing the software from your computer following these instructions. After this reinstall the DMG file (which is a standard extension for installation files on the Mac OS) following these instructions. You can find additional suggestions here.

Hi Fitbit,
As per your instructions, precisely, I uninstalled the previous app, and clicked on the pink downloading fitbit app. button.
It again downloaded .dmg
This, as per your instruction, precisely, I double clicked to open, it does NOT: it just does a blip and does nothing.
Then as per instruction, precisely, I dragged and dropped it into Applications.
Now what?
It does not open. It does not sync. There is no fitbit icon in the menu to manually sync.
