I purchased the Charge 2 beginning of December and immediately loved it! Up until last week it worked extremely well, but one day the battery died and I left it uncharged for about a full day and since then it will not turn on and will not charge. I've tried multiple charging attachments, cleaning the device and charger, I'm unable to reset it...just want to know if anyone else has had the same problem or has any ideas before I try sending it in to be fixed.

Hey @henna_dev, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! Have you tried a wall adapter to charge your Fitbit? Can you see something on the display itself or it is totally blank? Please let me know if you also tried to restart your Charge by following these instructions:
1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You'll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker's display. Your Charge 2 will begin charging.
4. Press and hold the button on your tracker for four seconds. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, this means the tracker has restarted.
5. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.
Let me know if that works!

@HeydyF I have tried using a different adapter, and just tried resetting it again but both did nothing. The screen does nothing!

I'm currently experiencing the same problem. I tried the fix mentioned here and nothing. I've had mine for 1 year and never had any issues till now.

If my Charge 2 has completely died as if it hasn't been able to turn on for a few days, I find it needs to stay on its charger for several hours before there is any signs of lifeland has taken up to 6 hours to charge.

I left it to charge for about 12 hours and still nothing, I ended up contacting fitbit for a replacement. Thanks for the input though!

My Charge 2 - obviously out of warranty by now - Started losing its charge one day. Normally it held a charge for several days and one day it lasted only a few hours. I put it on the cable and it was at a full charge when I went to bed that night... about 3am it started vibrating and doing all kinds of stuff on the display. No matter what I did it would not stop. Finally I took it off and put it next to the bed. The next morning I charged it and it seemed fine with a full charge and by midday I got a low battery email.. Again, made sure it had a full charge before going to bed and by morning it was dead, but this time it will not charge or turn on and if I leave it on the charger for a while it just gets HOT.
Is there any hope for this thing? I have had a Flex and this is my second Charge... all of which failed either under warranty or shortly after the warranty expired. I really don't want to pay another $150 for the Charge 3, which just has MORE features I will not use. It may be time to go with a cheaper fitness tracker if I need to buy a new one every 14 months anyway...
