Charge 2 won't turn on

On November 22, my band fell off my Charge 2.  I searched for a new one and received it a few days ago.  Had a lot of trouble getting it to attach.  Now my Charge 2 has a totally black screen - nothing.  I plugged it in for 24 hours - nothing.  I look at the app on my phone and it says syncing (shows 5%) and suddenly stops.  Any suggestions to get it started again?

@Kiera88, thank you for letting us know that you have followed all the steps. Have you tried changing your tracker's clock face?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Lost1000. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 2 has a black screen. 

 

Please try restarting your tracker to turn it on again:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button to restart your tracker for 4 seconds. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.

Is your tracker charging?

I have followed all the steps but it still won't start,I have the charge 2 ,on app it says battery is 100% when I attach charger it doesn't vibrate just a blank screen..

I am also having the same trouble and followed all the steps and still not working.

To restart your tracker please do the following: Plug the charging cable to your computer or UL certified wall adapter. Align the contacts of the tracker with the charging cable and plug it in making sure it snaps securely. Your tracker should start charging.

The problem is not with charging in the app it shoes its charged 100%
It just won't start,I've done all the troubleshooting
