BRIGHTNESS DISPLAY. Instead of having Bright, Auto and Dim options, how about Really Bright, Auto and Dim?
I understand that the brighter the display, the faster it will use the battery. However, instead of only having to recharge once a week, I would prefer to recharge every 3-4 days and to be able to ACTUALLY see my screen.
I have done everything to try and fix this issue.
I have rebooted the watch.
I have gone to screen wake, and checked that light bulb symbol is on.
I have gone into Settings > Brightness. On Auto it actually did brighten after a second, and I thought great.
But when I go back to looking at the watch normally, it's dull again, unless I'm in a dark room, which is no good during the day.
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? It was OK up to about 3-4 weeks ago.
PLEASE GIVE US THE OPTION TO HAVE A REALLY BRIGHT SCREEN.
[Yes, I know there's other posts but Fitbit need to fix this]

Same issue, just started a few weeks ago. I thought it was just mine. I can't read it in any light now. I don't like the thought that Fitbit has done something in the software to force people to purchase new ones .

I’m having the same problem! I’m pretty sure this started after I updated my Charge 3.

Remove any case or screen protector. These can block the ambient light sensor.
Restart (reboot) your Fitbit using the side button(s.)
Connect your Fitbit to the charger and let it charge uninterrupted.
Make sure your Fitbit isn’t in water lock mode. Try turning it off.
Change your Fitbit’s clock face using the Fitbit app. If your Fitbit still records information and sends it to the Fitbit app, try this tip first.

Will

willjoe,
My Charge 3 does not have a screen protector, not has it ever. The way I use or look at my watch has not changed.
I have restarted (rebooted) my Fitbit.
My Fitbit always charges uninterrupted.
My Charge 3 does not have water lock mode.
I changed the clock face. Admittedly, it slightly easier to read - only because it's now bigger digits - but it's still very feint. See the attached image.
