Hello! Love my Charge 3. However, I am having issues with location tracking.
When I try to talk a run from the Charge 3 it has trouble connecting to my phone for GPS and loses the connection shortly thereafter. When I try to track a run from the Fitbit app on my phone, the location tracking cuts out quickly in a similar way. Both problems end up giving me silly things like 5000 steps in 2 miles.
I turn my WiFi off and my Bluetooth on when trying to track runs. I suspect this is a problem with my phone's settings. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the Forums, @jacbolanser.
I am glad to hear that you are enjoying your Charge 3 and appreciate the efforts in trying to fix this GPS connected issue.
If you are having problems with this feature, I recommend taking a look at the help article: Why isn't GPS working on my Fitbit device? and follow the instructions provided there.
Let me know how it goes. 🙂

I'm having the exact same issue.
I tried the following with no luck (sometimes it works for one session, then goes back to not working):
-Restarted my watch
-Reset the watch to factory settings
-Disconnect and connect bluetooth
-turn off wifi
-restart my phone
-make sure settings show fitbit app has location services as "always on"
Non of these things worked. After speaking to a customer representative, they mentioned its a known fitbit issue. I'm not sure how long this will persist, however, if this feature is no longer working I will have to find another fitness tracker (although I REALLY like my fitbit). I hope they get this sorted out soon.
