Charge 3 GPS not working

I noticed yesterday that my Fitbit didn’t have a gps map of the walk me and my friend had just done. I’ve searched and searched how to fix this but nothing has worked. It’s Driving me Bonkers now as me and my friend started a 500,000 steps in 30 days to raise money for a cancer charity and wanted to record the walks that we’re doing. Hope someone can help me with this  🙏🏽

Let me help you with this. Your Charge 3 doesn't have a GPS chip, it uses your phones chip so I suggest you refresh the link between them by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Hope this helps.
