Charge 3 Lost steps

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

This morning, I went for a trail run and logged it through my phone on strava.

When I got home, I was on 10,600 steps, on my Charge 3 wristband and synced to the fitbit ap on my phone.

After having a lazy couple of hours before work, I looked at my Fitbit Charge 3, and found that I'd lost 1000+, and was now on 9,500.  Does anyone know why.?

Hi @Pryce1234,

I've had this happen a few times.  Try syncing it again to see if that helps.

Hello @Pryce1234. Welcome to the community forums! @DramaQueenDiva It's great to see you around and thanks for your input!

@Pryce1234 Thank you for the detailed information. This is very odd and I'd suggest trying to restart your Charge 3 by following the steps here. Also, in case this is related to an inconvenience with the syncing process, I recommend following some troubleshooting steps. For more information, please check: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Hope this helps.

Unfortunately no joy.

As I stated in my original post.

Everything was already synced

Unfortunately no.

Tried a restart and re-sync but never got those steps back.

Where they went.? Nobody knows.! 😂

@Pryce1234 I'm very sorry for this experience.

If you prefer, you can manually log those steps by following the instructions from this help article: How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?

I also recommend keeping an eye on the performance of your Charge 3 and if the inconvenience persists, you can also contact our Support Team for further assistance.

See you around.
