My Charge 3 is 6 months old. I replaced my Charge 2 due to the battery dying. An issue I have had since day 1 is that the Charge 3 does not track distance....walking nor biking. OK....I get it that the Charge 4 has a built in GPS, but the Charge 3 is to use your device GPS to track distance (as I understand it). I use Map My Walk and Map My Ride. They track distance and route, and other details of the exercise. Why doesn't the Charge 3 track/report distance if it is to use the GPS in my device (which by the way is an iPhone)?
