Charge 3 stopped staying charged

In the last 7 days I've had to charge my Fitbit 5 times. The day before yesterday I had it on the charger to full and it didn't last thru the day. I've cleaned it, cleaned the charger, tried resetting. It is currently on the charger because it went from full to 61% to 6% in 8 hours. I've read all other posts concerning issues and tried suggestions and no go.

I am having the same problem. It started out with my Fitbit not taking charge , then it started charging and holding the charge for about a week. Recently it will not hold a charge for more than a few minutes. I will charge it until it is fully charged and the minute I take it off of the charger it dies within minutes. I have tried resetting it, factory setting it, turning off a lot of the functions, changing the clock face , and cleaning it. Nothing seems to work.

Would definitely like useful feedback on how to resolve this issue.

*Update * I decided to time the battery life. It's been 14 hours(1pm yesterday)  since I charged my Fitbit to 100%, it is now at 11% and giving me the low battery alert. I would like to know how to fix this as I got this charge 3 exactly a year ago for my birthday and it's useless now.

The same thing is happening to me again!  In November I had this problem and they sent me another one because it was less then a year old.  Now as of yesterday, it is starting all over again.  Stays charged for a day and that’s it.  There is definitely an issue with Charge 3’s that we’re not being told about.  So frustrating.

I hope not!  I am trying to keep an eye on mine today to see if it has to do with an update or if it’s the actually Fitbit.  Fingers crossed!

Unfortunately,  my Fitbit battery has now died as well.  I was just informed the warranty does not extend when they send you a replacement.  So basically Charge 3’s are junk!  I’ve only had it 7 months and all I was offered was 25% off the purchase of a new one.  They only honor the warranty on the original, not the replacement.  Hope you have better luck with yours.

Uggg this is so frustrating! I'm sorry that your replacement didn't even
last. Guess we are going to have to be like the Neanderthals and go back to
regular watches😂😄
