Lately my charge 3 screen has become extremely dim. I cannot even see it outdoors anymore, which makes it very difficult to start and stop exercise routines, let alone just look at the time or my steps or heart rate. I've made sure the fitbit is fully charged. That didn't help. I've done a system reboot. This did not help. I've also tried changing the screen display a couple of times. Unfortunately, this didn't help either. I am one month past my warranty and customer service tells me there is nothing they can do. But they did send me a link to buy a new fitbit at a discount, so there's that!! I'd prefer a better solution, anybody?

I'm having the exact same problem and have done all the things you've described. I'm also just past my warranty which I find very frustrating. I also received an email the other day to buy a new fitbit with a 25% discount but I would much rather they fix the problem or give a much better deal to replace it! Not sure who else to talk to. And now this morning, my fitbit has a blank screen and no response. My phone can't even says 'no device found'. After charging for a bit, when I push the button, it just buzzes. Still nothing. Ugh. I hope someone has a suggestion.

I just read another post about this topic and never saw this solution mentioned. Customer service didn't mention it either on our chat (probably because it's embarrassingly obvious and I missed it). Scroll to settings on the Charge 3, set brightness to 'Normal'. I never knew there was an option for this and have no idea how it got set to dim, but it seems back to normal now. Posting this in case it helps somebody else.
