Charge 3 Screen is very dim

I can barely view the data on my fitbit charge 3 screen. I have owned the device for 3 months and now its basically useless. I have done a short and long reset and nothing changes. Please advise.

This has happened to my unit after I did the update to the latest firmware and white streaks on the bottom of the display.
