I first read that this desirable feature would be added to the Charge 3 in January 2020 and it was rolled out everywhere except where I live in Dubai?!
I hope the fact that Google bought Fitbit doesn't mean it will effect the rollout of features to older Fitbit device models as a part of the change of management or direction.
I will wait for another month and if no Spo2 is forthcoming I will abandon Fitbit and go with Garmin (if a company shows no interest in their clients of a particular region then maybe the competition will)...
Unless a rollout date is announced and kept.

@Mman41 I hope you're doing well!
Let me help you with this. While SpO2 readings aren't available for the Charge 3 you can still see your oxygen variation on your sleep graph. You can check the instructions here. Regarding the SpO2 feature you can share your idea in our Feature Suggestions board. Search for the idea first to see if one already exists so you can add your vote. The more votes an idea gets the more likely the developers will try to implement it.
Hope this helps.
