I purchased a Charge 3 as upgrade and have had it for 16 months now. Went to take it off this morning and the band broke, the EXACT same way the band broke on my first. Seems very coincidental the SAME issue arose! Seems very defective/poor product reliability. And without their band I cant use it in water. When I called support I was told it’s not in warranty but I can buy one for $30. Sixteen months? How is this positive customer support?

"without their band I cant use it in water". Do you mean specifically the Fitbit brand band? I couldn't understand that. You can buy third-party bands on Amazon at very reasonable prices.
