Charge 3 battery draining fast

Mine has become strange, charging to 100% within an hour, then draining within minutes to a couple of hours.  Its synching behavior is also erratic, sometimes showing the correct time and mostly not.  I fear that my trusty Charge 3 has reached the end of its useful life, unless some obscure techno magic exists.  Any thoughts?

Hello @Marshratter and welcome to the Community.  I don't have any techno magic to share. Rechargeable batteries have a life span.  Everything you describes sounds like a battery at its end of life.  Sorry.

Depending on your location, rechargeable batteries can't go in regular trash and must be disposed of as hazardous material.
