Past couple days I felt my charger was depleting a lot faster than usual but a few minutes ago it stated vibrating and the screen showed my battery life at 98% , it continued beeping and draining within a few minutes it was 67%, then 17 and finally almost dead so I set it to charge. The cycle repeats ? What can I do?

How long have you had your Fitbit? I had the same problem, very frustrating, my Charge3 was only 2 years and a few months old. I tried setting my watch up gain and again, in the end it all I had was white lines across the screen. In the end I contacted Fitbit direct, they did a few checks their end and could not solve the problem. They said the watch life cycle was only for 2 years (not sure if this was a marketing ploy) in the end I had to buy a new watch.

Hi there @maite721 and @Lavern63, welcome to the Community Forums. I am sorry to hear that you are going through this situation. I appreciate your feedback for the Fitbit trackers.
Please note that our main purpose is to avoid negative experiences to our customers, we're always willing to help and provide troubleshooting steps. Then, if the tracker is deemed defective we review eligibility using the one year warranty option. 😉
As per the description, it seems that it has insufficient power source. Where do you charge your tracker? Have you checked if by any chance the USB port or outlet is faulty? If you haven't done so, try a different port. A UL-certified wall charger will also work. Don't use a USB hub. You can find more detailed information in the help article: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
Also, I'd like you to review the tips and recommendations provided in the article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?
As a friendly reminder, the following are some factors that have an impact on battery life and may cause your battery to drain more quickly:
If you still believe your battery is not lasting as long as expected, we’d like you to do a battery test to see how long your battery lasts after a full charge. Please do the following:
PS: @Lavern63 I've seen that you contacted our Support Team a long time ago. Have you contacted recently?
Let me know how it goes, I'll be around and glad to further assist you.

About a year and two months. I think this is like my 8 th fitbit and I swear they are breaking down faster and faster. I just wonder if I should keep investing in fitbit or make the switch. My whole family is fitbit but my son wants me to go to Apple . I do like the fitbit community but yearly replacements are getting too costly

My charge 3 just hit 18 Mos and now the heart rate stays elevated at above 150 and my battery went from lasting a week to lasting 24 hrs. Based on the forums it seems that the battery life cycle is the culprit. Most polymer batteries don't last more than two years so I'm not surprised. A little frustrated yes, but I already ordered my next charge 3 for another $100. I realize that creating a product that lasts forever is an impossible business strategy as well as as an impossibility within the realm of physics. However, I would expect Fitbit as a subsidiary of Google now to be more forthcoming about product life expectancy. I sincerely hope that the battery life is not a ploy similar to the strategy that Apple has fallen guilty of recently using firmware updates as a means to shorten the life of their products for the sake of greed. There exists battery options that can last much longer than this just ask around. My whole family enjoys your products and we find your devices much more user friendly which is why we remain loyal. We only ask, can you do better?
