Hi guys. My Fitbit Charge 3 keeps on discharging very fast, I restarted the Fitbit to see if that helps but unfortunately it does not. Basically once i have charged it, it discharges within a few hours. Please can anyone advice me on this problem and get a reasonable solution. Do I need to update it? I hope it isn't a battery issue.

Hey @Kimivuong, it's great to see you around.
Thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself. If your tracker isn't holding a charge, I recommend taking a look at this post and follow the instructions provide there. After following those steps, test your unit.
Let me know the outcome.

My fit bit charge 3 was gotten in Sept 2018. The last 3 weeks I have had to charge it daily. I have updated it. Restarted it. Turned everything off except date and steps. No difference. What a waste. Now I charge it every morning and evening for the last 2 days. Is this normal for this brand?

This is my second Charge 3 with the same problem. I've only had this one for a few months and it stopped tracking sleep and now heart rate, and it will deplete the battery within one day. My first one started doing this and within a short time it just wouldn't turn back on. Is there a systemic problem with the Charge 3 or with FitBit's themselves?

I am having the same problem and also with a replacement Charge 3 after my first one died. How do we get a response from FitBit on this?

I have done everything that was recommended. I charged to 100% yesterday morning and the battery tapped out last night while I was asleep.

PS: My Versa died a day after installing a software update. Go figure.

"Unfortunately, in my experience, fitbit produces a shoddy product. I bought a Versa for myself and a Charge 3 for my wife 18 months ago. My Versa's HR monitor stopped working. I ended up doing a hard reset and that was the end of it. I then borrow my wife's Charge 3 which she hardly wore, and the battery depletes within 4 hours. I've lost the money I paid for my Versa, but will request a refund from Costco for the Charge 3, which has a different return policy. After reading various posts, I consider myself lucky that both devices lasted that long.
PS: My Versa died after installing the update.
I typed in the above response earlier, which was flagged and removed by fitbit because I prayed that fitbit be held accountable for not standing behind its product. The censorship tells me all I need 5o know about this company. Well, I can't be fooled again and I'll be sure to let anyone that will listen, know of my experience with fitbit. I work hard for my money and expect a decent reliable product. Fair is fair

My Charge 3 used to hold a charge for a week, since last update it's every two days.
IT'S NOT JUST THE CHARGE 3 MY CHARGE 2 DOES THE EXACT SAME THING SINCE UPDATE!

I am having the same issue with my battery on my Charge 3. It's a couple of years old, and suddenly yesterday it lost the charge. I plugged it in and it'll go to 100% very quickly and then when unplugged lose the charge after about 10 minutes.

Same issue. How do I return my Fitbit and have it replaced? I do not see the need to continuously go thru all these processes when I expected a QUALITY PRODUCT!
