I have tried everything suggested on my end to try to fix my Charge 3 battery not staying charged. It worked fine for over a 1 year and all of a sudden within the last 2 weeks I've had to charge it every night, every night. So I can't track my sleep and I can't do anything extra or it won't last the day. Now what?

Hey @DKEN59 and @Valston, welcome to the Forums.
I appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this battery issue. If your trackers aren't holding a charge, I recommend taking a look at the help article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life? and follow the tips provided there. After following them, test your units.
Let me know the outcome. 🙂

I am having a similar problem since last week (less than 2 months after the 1-year warranty expired). My watch loses its charge withing two days or less. In addition, it is showing a very high heart rate (off by probably a factor of 2). I have restarted it many times, but this is not helping.
How good is the longevity of these things?
Help!!!

Alejandra,
We are not talking about a slow battery drain that can be remedied by turning off some features. This is a very fast discharge (100% to 0 in ~24 hours) on a phone that was working perfectly a week ago..
What testing should we perform?
Thanks

Just so you understand, my fitbit has been doing this for the last 2 months & I've done that and more several times, with not much if any improvement. That being said for the cost of your products I should not have to buy a new one every year only to have it do the same, very disappointed in the product & I was recommending to all my WW (Weight Watchers) friends, I'll retract that for now, though.

It’s been a few days and now my tracker won’t hold any charge. I see the smiley face. I get it working and it’s zapped/dead 30 min later. My watch is 2 years old and had absolutely no issues until last week. I don’t need to extend battery life so much as get it to function again!!! I think I just need to get customer support involved...

Totally understand and agree, definitely a huge problem. I've bragged so much about these products & now I'm sorry I have!!!

Now the heart rate readings on my Charge 3 are back to normal but the battery life is down to one hour. Again, this device is one year and two months old and was working perfectly until a week ago.
I was very happy with this watch, but its short lifespan and very poor support by fitbit are very disappointing. I am seriously looking into buying a watch from another manufacturer.

What I want to know is there a Recall on the Charge 3???? You know when you purchase something for a reason like 7+day battery, then that's what you expect, now mine is staying charged for about 10 hours if that!

Now, my battery drains in 1 hour or less and the device begins to vibrate i am beginning to worry that the lithium battery may catch fire.
Fotbit: any suggestions on what to do?

Now, the Charge 3 won't charge at all and it is getting very hot when I connect it to the USB the charger. I will give up on it to avoid a lithium fire. And it was working OK 1.5 weeks ago.
