Charge 3 blank screen

I have charged my Fitbit and have had a black screen for about 4 days now? I cannot get it to do anything.

Hi @Helen11385  Try restarting your Charge 3 several times. If that doesnt help try a Long Restart. If it is still not working try changing the clock face in the app. If you still have problems after trying all of these troubleshoots, please come back here for further assistance.

Restart your tracker

 

CHARGE 3 LONG RESTART
Plug the device into the charging cable. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, hold the button down for 15 seconds. Remove your finger from button. Note: Device won't have a smiley face icon and should be off with a black screen. Remove the device from the charging cable. Plug the device into the charging cable again. The smiley face icon appears on the screen.

Hi still nothing. The fit bit wont turn on @NellyG

Hello @AlejandraFitbit , I even called fitbit and nothing i did everything that they said and the warch turns on then it turns off. It only remains on for a few minutes.

This is happening to me right now. Just went blank, and I plugged into the charger and nothing.

@Lawa306 I have tried it all too. I am hoping my husband bought a warranty for it but i think he did not 😞 I hope fit bit does something because this wasent a 19.99 gift.

@YojanaFitbit  I've also been experiencing these same issues since last week. I have tried the long restart several times and the screen still stays off.

 

I'm not able to try changing the clock face. Since the Charge3 is not responding, the app can't find it. When I go to change the face, it tells me I'm not able to do so.

I also had the same problem and the same results. Black screen althought the phone is working as such but no display

Please help. My husband hasn’t used this in a long time (and barely used it when he got it). I am wanting him to track his steps now and use it, but all I get is a black screen, with no signs of life. He barely used it, so it isn’t like it was mistreated or misused. Please help. I don’t want to spend more money on something that should still work.

Mine went black two months ago and have tried all of the above.  Even went back to where I purchased it (Best Buy) and they couldn't help.

Where does it tell you to hold the button down for 15 seconds to get the device to turn on?  I wish they had a few simple instructions with the device when you buy it so the set up process in the app is not so tedious.  It is syncing now..  Thank you.

I have the same problem. Ive tried both the short 8 second and long 15 second restart. Neither is working. I know the tracker still works because I can see the steps on the app and it does still vibrate when I hit my step goal, but no display. I think this Fitbit is less than a year old too!  Very frustrating. Can an admin help here???

I also just have a blank screen I’ve tried all the resets and changing the clock face still nothing it vibrates when I’m doing the resets but then nothing else happens
