Hi,
I’m having an issue with my Fitbit charge 3. The Fitbit keeps jumping in and out of the menu as if I’m pressing the button over and over and over. It’s does this whilst wearing and off sitting on a table.
it happened about a week ago, I did a hard reset by holding the button for 15 seconds and the issue disappeared.
the issue came back today and now the button won’t respond and I can’t reset it.
any help would be appreciated. I have a video of it doing it if you’d like me to send it.
kind regards, Josh

Try a restart and clean the screen and button.

Hi, I am also experiencing similar issue recently~ The button appears to be “double clicking” by itself and constantly switching the screen to quick setting where you turn on & off “message” “sleep” and “screen wake” menu~ I tried to reset/restart/shut down fitbit in numerous attempt and still having the issue~ my screen shows lines on display~ Please help.
Thank you,
Jason
P.S. Josh’s issue doesnt appear to be resolved as well

Hello everyone. @JasonCh Welcome to the community forums.
Thank you for the detailed information and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'd like to let you know that sometimes contact with water can behave as button press. At this time, if you haven't done so, I'll suggest performing a long restart which is different than the basic restart and you can complete the process by following the instructions below:
Also, wearing T-shirts with long sleeves can unintentionally press the button.
@JoshuaColes, @JasonCh If the inconvenience persists, I recommend contacting our Support Team for further assistance. Note that you can contact them through chat or over the phone and you can click here to get connected.
Hope this helps.
