Charge 3 charger doesn't work

Cable will not stay on watch and charge it, I think I have to tape it on, any one else have this problem?

Thats very odd. Are you using the charging cable that came with your Fitbit Versa 3? Or did you purchase an after market charger? Make sure you use the charging cable that came with your device, as most cables aren't compatible with other devices. Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. If you are using your original charging cable and your still under warranty I’d call Fitbit Customer Service: https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support?language=en_US 
If your not under warranty you can purchase a new charger at the Fitbit store: https://www.fitbit.com/global/us/products/accessories/charge3-charging-cable?sku=168RCC
