Well about a week ago my 2018 fitbit charge 3 screen and control stopped working. I have already connected up to power charge and tried a reset.
There was a dark screen to start with, i did manage to make screen bright. Then battery went flat, change again, but now nothing works, app still connects but reset or anything else does nothing.
Touch button i get two buzz sounds, very disappointed the device lasted 2 years only.
Never again, anybody pm me with a recommendation of a new device
This is very poor tk pack up after a few years. Was about to buy the new version, but wont fo that now

@SunsetRunner Thanks for stopping by!
Sorry to hear that your Charge 3 screen isn't working and thank you for restarting your tracker. Since the tracker is still syncing I suggest you try changing the clock face by following these instructions.
Let me know how it goes.

I have the same problem with my Charge 3. About three weeks ago, my display started becoming dimmer and dimmer. I tried all of the solutions you tried to no avail. Now, the display is so dim it is not readable. My fitbit still syncs with my phone, but I cannot use it otherwise. Tech support needs to come up with better solutions or send me a replacement.

The answer is WARANTEE
I bought mine from A m a zon UK fitbit gives a 2 year warantee, today A ma zon customer service contacted Fitbit, we had a 3 way chat on the phone.
The result Fitbit is sending out a replacement charge 3, it did also offer 50% off a charge 4, but i selected free replacement for the charge 3.
So who do you buy from, authorised dealer's will have the 2 year warantee, back street shops might be a bit cheaper, but if things go wrong you dont have the backup.
I was under the impression that A ma zon UK would have taken over if fitbit didnt sort out the problem.
I had just 1 month manufacturer warantee left, so lucky.
Despite this, the second fitbit i had bought at the same time as the first, its still working, if it ever stops working within 5 years, ill never buy another, these devices should last 5 years in my opinion, good quality, well made, higher price, uk law does say fit for its purpose for electrical goods 6 years, but i wouldn't like to test it.
So thank you Amazon and thank you fitbit
