My charge 3 screen is dim/black and unable to read. I cannot adjust brightness as I cannot read the black screen. I love this watch but certainly will not buy another or recommend it to anyone.

Hello Wilson,
I'm having the same screen issues with my Charge 3. I followed all of the troubleshooting steps and reached out to customer support. They were unable to resolve the issue and offered a discount on a new device.
My device is no longer under warranty, but based on the volume of mpacted customers, I'm assuming this is a common issue. Are there any repair options?
I've been a Fitbit customer for over 5 years and have never had an issue that customers support either couldn't or wouldn't resolve.
What options are available for customers with devices out of warranty?

Same issue for me. I reached out to the support team and the result is very disappointing. Since my device was bought 18 months ago in the US it is out of warranty. They can't or won't do anything to help other than directing me to where I can buy a new or different Fitbit device. Seriously!? That's how you treat a large group of customers who have the same software problem on relatively new devices?
I would have liked to get a new Fitbit device since I am familiar with the app and how it works but no thank you, I will be looking elsewhere.I won't be recommending any Fitbit products to friends and colleagues as I have in the past. I am embarrassed that I have done so already as it reflects badly on my integrity that I recommended such an inferior product to people who trust my judgement.

This is not working for me at all, I have tried all options that I have found so far and nothing makes any difference

That would be great if I could actually see what was on the display
I've tried all the fixes but impossible to see the display. This is my second Fitbit and the Charge 2 had a similar issue with missing pixels on the display. I've taken to wearing an actual watch to tell the time and have to check my fitness data on the app. I won't be wasting my money again.

I swiped left and found settings on the watch. Then I changed the brightness setting and now mine works fine. Somehow it had gotten changed.

Hello everyone. Thanks for participating in the Community forums.
I appreciate your assistance in following the suggested troubleshooting steps and I'm sorry for this. Since the inconvenience persists, my best recommendation is to contact the Support Team for further assistance. You can contact them through chat or over the phone and make sure to explain the situation and the troubleshooting steps that were performed, this way they can assist you from there. Click here to get connected.
On a side note, I'm sorry but there isn't a repair center available where the Fitbit devices can be taken for repair. I also recommend reviewing our warranty information here.
See you around.
