Charge 3 display and battery issues

Hi all,

In recent months, my Charge 3 has stopped showing alerts on the screen when I get a notification (e.g. whatsapp message, call, activity prompt). I still get the little vibrating buzz, but I have to wake up the screen myself by pressing the side button to see the notification.

 

Also, in the past few days, I've noticed it also hasn't been charging properly. I left it on charge overnight, and saw on the screen it was at 99% before I took it off the charger. It then immediately went down to 54%. Weird? Anyway, any advice or help would be most appreciated!

Have you checked if the screen wake option is on? If you haven't, I recommend verifying this by pressing and holding the side button of your Charge 3 until it vibrates, then tap the “screen wake” option to adjust this setting.

Now about the battery, please check the help article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life? and follow the tips provided there. After following them, test your unit.
