Charge 3 display corrupted

My Fitbit Charge 3 has developed a fault with the screen, it has grayed out vertical lines and shakes from side to side. Others have reported similar faults and recommended turning it off and back on, this has been done without success.

 

Has anybody got any recommendations please?
