For about a month (maybe longer) my charge 3 has had various lines of missing pixels, but it never really bothered me and didn’t affect its performance. However, about a week ago, suddenly my Fitbit’s screen lit up, it now has a white shaded box with lines of dead pixels covering the whole clock face, hugely affecting the display. It also is less responsive, for instance, often, when I’m running if I pause the tracker and then try to hit play, it doesn’t work unless I press the side button a few times, wait 5 seconds, and then tap the play button in a certain way. Any ideas?

@AlejandraFitbit Hi there again, my apologies but I failed to mention I read this post and
tried this method before contacting you! Although, I did it again upon
receiving your email and after trying this method meticulously several
times unfortunately there has been no effect. There are still a large
number of dead pixels impairing the display, the background of the screen
is still lit up and the device is slow and glitchy and occasionally
unresponsive when swiped/tapped. Also, the strap is broken as it is cracked
in two places (one near the buckle) meaning it cannot be worn. I can’t find
the strap I own for sale on amazon, eBay etc or on the Fitbit website. Also
the damage is not natural wear and tear or from incorrect use and the
damage is not just cosmetic. I wondered if there was another method I could
try to fix the device itself and possibly you could recommend somewhere I
could purchase the strap? Or get a replacement strap or/and device since it
has a 2 year warranty within the EEA and the rights and obligations still
apply to the UK until December 31st?
Many thanks!
