Since charging my Charge 3 earlier this week, my Fitbit has never been the same. It started as a minor annoyance; going from a dimly lit screen, to being unresponsive when I tried to swipe the screen. Later the screen would scrambled, turn dim, then blank, and was unresponsive. This morning when I checked it, it literally flat-lined (a white line across the face).
Eventually the clock face appeared and once I put it on, it went wonky -now it uncontrollably vibrates and toggles from the clock face to the DND/Sleep screen, I can't get it to stop. Over the past few days, I've tried restarting, rebooting and all the troubleshooting options listed here on the Fitbit Community and my Fitbit has only gotten worse and has now crashed.
I've had my Charge 3 for 3 years without any issues, but it seems odd that so many of us are currently having similar issues. I have to wonder, is this Fitbit way of getting us to purchase a newer model? A few months ago I had actually been researching the new Versa 3, but now I may go with another brand altogether.
