Charge 3 - display is blank

I'm a bit fed up with my frequent Charge 3 problems, so... Rant alert! 

In January this year, I stopped using my Charge 3 that I had had since it was released in Oct. 2018, since it kept showing incorrect heart rate, always way too high. When measured manually, my pulse was always just fine. But it freaked me out a bit, so I threw my Charge 3 in a drawer. A couple of weeks ago, I broke it out again. A few days ago, suddenly the display went blank. It's fully charged, it syncs, I've restarted it several times, but no display. I've searched the help forums, but it doesn't solve my issue. This is so frustrating. I give up now. And certainly won't buy another Fitbit product.

And... breathe. Okay, rant over. But not solving persistent product problems doesn't make customers happy.

Hi there, my charge 3 screen also went blank. I changed the clock face and it started working again. Hope this helps.

Hm, I don't seem to have any setting that changes the clockface. Where do I find it?

On the app on your phone, click on your profile and it should open to a page where you see your device. Click on that and it should then change to a page where it shows clock faces. Click on that and you should be able to change the clock face. If/When the screen on your device comes back on, you can then change it back to the clock face you prefer.

Well whaddayaknow... I had no idea you could change the clockface!  😁 Thanks for that info. I happily changed clockface a few times, and Fitbit McFitface vibrated reassuringly. But it's still blank. 🙄

I had my clock face set as Mod Clock Date.  I changed it to Steps Date and it's MUCH brighter!  Thank you!
