Charge 3 doesnt activate on wrist movement

My charge 3 was coming on to show the time when I moved my wrist over to look at it. I haven't changed any settings but it has now stopped, I have to tap the screennor push the button to wake it up. Does anyone know how to cure this, I've already tried a restart on it which didn't work.

I have the same problem. Mi e also does not recognize and log runs.

same issue, i can not get face to light up with wrist movement. have to tap 2x - annoying , charge 2 did activate on wrist motion

Try holding in the button, sweep left, check the quick settings.

Tried holding button and sweeping left. This get me to a screen with "Screen Wake" and "Notifications" neither seems to solve the problem.  Any other ideas??  Really need to solve this issue and it sounds like others have the same problem.

This is very annoying.  My Charge 3 stopped showing time when I move my wrist.  I've read through all the fixes and although I can get to the Screen Wake screen, toggling or tapping has ZERO effect.  I'm thinking my Charge 3 is defective.

Yeah same here, is annoying as the screen wake function won’t activate...  no reason for going into this mode either, didn’t change anything...  twice in a couple months
