Charge 3 exercise app keeps unintentionally opening

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The exercise keeps opening and starting the exercise. This has been happening a lot within the past month. I have tried rebooting the Fitbit both through the 'Reboot' option in the settings and the USB charger method and the issue still occurs.

Hello @Aviationn, welcome to the community forums! Thank you for the troubleshooting steps you've tried prior to posting!

I suggest you to perform a long restart which is different than the basic restart. For this, please follow the steps below:

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable.
  2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  3. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
  4. The device turns off.
  5. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  6. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  7. Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again

Hope this helps!

I have just tried this method of doing a long restart however it does not work. After pressing and holding for 15 seconds all that happens is a smiley face appears and then it goes back to the normal Fitbit clock. I tried doing the long restart method multiple times however there are no vibrations that occur.
