Don't expect fitbit to stand behind their product after one year! That is how long I've owned my Charge 3 when black horizontal lines began to appear across the screen and worsened as time went on to the point of not being able to read the time. Fitbit support told me to charge my device and then reboot, neither one fixed the problem and I was given a 35% discount on another purchase. I would never expect to buy a watch every year, nor would I expect to buy a fitbit every year. The device never received any abuse unless one defines abuse as "wearing all day/night and showering". No cracked face, never dropped, no swimming......but it's my problem.

@Corpsrunner Welcome to the Community.
Sorry to hear about this and thank you for reaching out to our Support team. Support does follow the guidelines described in the warranty so if your device is outside the warranty period they won't be able to replace it. This is why they offer a discount to help customers in this situation. Still thank you for sharing your feedback.
I'll be around.
