Charge 3 acting weird

It seems my Fitbit charge 3 received an update, and while now the screen is brighter (it had become very dim)... it is spazzing out... flashing from time to settings over and  over again and not allowing me to scroll through it.   It is draining the battery as well.  I’ve tried rebooting it several times to no avail.   It even still does the flashing around while plugged into charger (unless I turn it off to reboot).  It all began when I charged it Friday  evening.... and then Battery was drained again last (Saturday) night.  It worked fine throughout the day, but started spazzing again  Saturday night.
