A warm welcome to our community @Kcilley. I'll be happy to assist with your Charge 3 display inquiry.

To turn ON your Charge 3 again please restart it. You can restart your tracker from your wrist. Open the Settings app and tap About > Reboot Device.

If your Charge series tracker is unresponsive: .

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button to restart your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  5. Disconnect your tracker from the charging cable.

Let me know how it goes and keep on visiting the forums.

My display is completely not working. I’ve tried your suggestions a couple of times without any success. I’m wondering how I can delete my personal information (and restore it to factory mode) from my charge 3 if my display is not working. When I look up the instructions on how to do it, it says to use your watch and open the Settings app. But I can’t do that. What should I do?

Responding to your post. I have restarted my FitBit and changed the clock face. Neither helped the extra dark screen I was able to see the screen long enough to change the face by charging the battery fully but after I reset the clock face, the screen was too dark to see again. What is a long restart? The link in the email only leads to another thread discussion about the screen but no instructions on long restart.

Is the long restart the one where you press the button for 15 seconds? If so I’ve tried that and although it vibrates a few times there is still no display
