Charge 3 is not syncing to challenges

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I'm in two workweek hustle group challenges that started at the same time in the same timezone but are showing different amounts of steps under my score/stats. My dashboard seems to be syncing, updating and correct but one of the groups shows me as roughly 5000 steps behind.

I've had a look at similar posts but can't seem to fix my problem- any ideas?

I only got this fitbit on Sunday and I'm really hoping this can be easily resolved...

Thanks

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @charrm! Thanks for taking the time to look at similar posts, nice way to start.

If your steps aren't syncing to your challenges, below are possible reasons for this issue:

1. Your steps have fully synced to our database but you're not viewing the mobile app dashboard in Live Data Mode. (Live data mode would show the word "connected" under your tracker tile).
2. You manually logged an activity. Steps from manually logged activities do not count toward challenges; only steps recorded by your tracker or MobileTrack are counted toward challenges.
3. You used MobileRun to track GPS data with your app. Only steps recorded by a tracker or MobileTrack are counted toward challenges.

I also recommend waiting 15 minutes after syncing your Fitbit data to see if your challenge updates. For more information about this, check the help article What should I know about Fitbit challenges?.

Hope this helps, keep me in the loop!

I am having the same problem. My dashboard syncs, but not my workweek challenges. I have tried:

uninstalling the app

restarting my Fitbit

restarting my phone

turning Bluetooth off and on

none of this has worked. I installed the new update to my watch as well. My app is up to date. The challenge is all in the same time zone, no gps or manual steps added.

Is there a fix?

I am in the same situation, just updated my charge 3 and syncing is working for my steps but not to the workweek hustle.  Please help!

Same issue for me too. It says that I haven’t synced for 7 hours.

I’ve got exactly the same problem and no fix seems to work 😞

Looks like there is major lag time for the updates to the challenges, I finally updated in the early am , this is a Fitbit issue for sure

It’s February 2020 and no resolution from Fitbit on the known Charge 3 synch issues with the Work Week Hustles in different time zones. This has been a known issue by Fitbit and the conclusion now is Fitbit doesn’t even care to correct the problem on Fitbit’s end.

My charge 3 also isn't syncing with my 'Workweek Hustle' challenge 😞 It's logged the steps, but not with the challenge, just today this has happened for some reason 🤷‍:male_sign:

Have tried:

  • refreshing

  • Bluetooth on/off

  • uninstall and reinstall app

  • log out / in

  • reboot tracker

  • notifications turn on/on

  • phone on/off

  • laptop on/off

  • login on a different device (ipad)

I didn't manually update any steps - all are from my tracker.

ANY ideas would be greatly appreciated, Fitbit!

Very frustrating, because at this moment, it's 17k steps behind.

My Charge 3 just started doing this within the last week after an update.  I’ve also tried all of the tips and tricks suggested with no resolve.

I hope they figure this out sooner rather than later. Super frustrating. Glad to know I'm not the only one.
