I love my watch, I have come to depend on my watch from counting my steps to seeing how well I'm sleeping at night. I am lost at the moment because my fitbit has malfuntioned and is no longer reliable or useable. I use my phone app to sync with the watch, it's a Samsung Galaxy 9+.
It started a couple of days ago, it registered that I had taken an absurd amount of steps. Next, it stopped tracking my sleep, even though it was charged and I had worn it to bed. I had also looked at my exercise log and noticed that on a couple of days, enteries I had made were missing. I checked the community postings and noticed there were several entries describing issues similar to mine. I followed the suggestion of the Fitbit person suggested- doing the restart while connected to the charger and I have attempted to change the watch face.
Unfortunately it did not work, none of it worked. I actually think it has made my watch worse. I am no longer using it, as yesterday the screen went black and it kept vibrating on and off until it died. I believe I need a case opened with support. I received this watch as a Christmas gift, so I need a replacement for this defective equipment.
I have had another fitbit, another charge. I stopped using that one when I got a new phone that was not supported yet. I went to a competitor and came back to fitbit. I hope that I won't regret my decision.
