Charge 3 issues after update

After I updated my Fitbit it doesn’t track my steps, heartbeat, or anything. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix?

Let me help you with your Charge 3 not tracking any of our information. Lets start with a restart as this isn't the expected behavior. You can restart your tracker by doing the following:

 

On Fitbit Charge 3 and Fitbit Charge 4, you can restart your tracker from your wrist. Open the Settings app and tap About > Reboot Device.

 

If your Charge series tracker is unresponsive: .

 

  • Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  • Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  • Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  • Press and hold the button to restart your tracker:
    • Charge 3 & Charge 4—press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  • Disconnect your tracker from the charging cable.
